What I Bought In June

The first week of June was a lot. We had to put Lambeau, our 13 year old golden, down the day before Dan’s ACL surgery and it was a whirlwind to say the least.

Thankfully we have had a lot of unexpected time together as a family and everyone is on the mend. I was a little busy and didn’t buy too many things in June (probably a good thing), but here are some random purchases from the past month.

Kids life jacket

This one is US coast guard approved and we had it for Maeve last year. Just bought one for Marley, too.

blanket

The best blankets for year round, but especially summertime. They are bamboo fabric, so never feel too heavy or hot.

Bead kit

The girls are deep into jewelry making, dress up, and pretending to do hair/makeup.

water bottle

Maeve lost her water bottle and Marley needed a new one too, so we got these stainless steel bottles. So far we love them, and they keep water cold in the heat!

Pizza peel

I got this as a fathers day gift for Dan, since we love making homemade pizza. After using this, I don’t know how we survived without one. Will I use this to take out frozen pizzas, too? You bet.

Pizza steel

A great alternative to an Ooni pizza oven if you don’t want to spend that much. You can put this in the oven or on the grill. It makes the best crust and cooks pizzas so fast.

my new favorite coffee

This is not what I would usually grab, but I did on a whim and it is SO GOOD.

gardening shears

I needed a fresh pair for my cutting garden this year and these have been great so far.

vitamin c serum

I usually buy Skinceuticals, but it is quite spendy. I thought I would try this less expensive option from Target. I have only been using it for about 3 weeks, but I like it!

no show socks

The best no show socks, hands down.

waterproof mens shoes

Dan got these to avoid having to tie shoes with a giant knee brace on. They are better than crocs and are waterproof.
