Nursery Design Plan
I will share more pictures of the nursery when it is all finished in a few weeks, but I wanted to share the design plan I created. This helped me to lay everything out and get a good idea of what I wanted the room to look like.
I use photoshop very often with my lettering work, but I recently started using it to lay out home design plans. And now I want to do this for every room in our house because it was so much fun to me (nerd).

Over the past few years, we have settled into our first home together and I have grown to love interior design. I love designing the rooms around our home and helping friends and families with their homes, too. Since I make home décor items and sell them, I figured this would be fun to share what goes into making my house a home and how I style the signs I make in our own house.
I am terrified of bright colors and am definitely not a girly girl, so to put together a baby girl’s nursery I started with a lot of neutrals and then added pops of color through art and textiles. I think keeping a nursery neutral is great whether or not you know the gender, because it can be updated to fit any future babes.
We also tried to save money where we could, because putting together a nursery is not cheap! We have a Crate and Barrel outlet near our house, so I went on frequent visits until we found a few great items at 50-60% off! I HIGHLY recommend looking for home store outlets in your area and using stores like Target, Home Goods, and even Home Depot for cheaper décor pieces.
I can’t wait to show you the finished room and the new things I made to put my spin on the room!
